Tamara Landre
Napa Valley, California

I'm originally from Modesto, CA, which is in the middle of the Great Central Valley. It was a nice, normal place to grow up back in the 70s and 80s. Growing up, I thought there were only two seasons: Hot and Fog. I now live in a smaller, prettier California valley, on a beautiful winery estate.

I believe that real food, prepared with love and shared, has the power to make life better.

(In case you're wondering how it's pronounced: Tamara rhymes with camera, and Landre is just like Landry, more like pantry than laundry or laundray. All very Americanized, and not like the Hebrew, Russian and French from whence they came.)

If there is anyone out there who found me because they were searching for Tamara Landry, with a y, please move on, these are not the droids you are looking for. Tamara Landr y is/was a porn star of dubious achievements. I am an entirely different Tamara Landre, with an e. I am also not Tamara Nadin-Landré, the Scandinavian martial-artist. Nor am I the Tamara Landry who was missing during hurricane Katrina. I do hope she turned up.
