Ain't No Big Thing

Well, the Farm Bill has been voted upon, and the Kind-Flake amendment was rejected. I participated and voiced my opinion. I feel better about it than I would have if I had received those emails and deleted them, or put them aside for later. If I need to call my representatives in the future, I have the information and I know how it works. For today, that's going to have to be enough. I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing-- buying organic, supporting local farmers-- and anticipating the next opportunity to speak out.
